Im sorry to say once again a seat belt could have saved another life. Last week in Utica Ohio, my niece, Stacy lost her 8 year old son. He was ejectected from the front seat after driver lost control, went left of center then overcorrected crossing center line and hitting a large SUV. Driver sustainded minor injuries while 5 yr old sister who was in back seat in belt sustained non life threatning injuries. Please buckle those kids up….I wanted to share a story with you all – in 2009 my 18 y/o son and 13 y/o daughter rolled off I-75 right at SR 64 exit in my Yukon. Tyler did not have a seatbelt on and was ejected out of the truck and the truck ended up landing on his leg. Ali HAD her seatbelt on and ended up with a few scratches on her arm. She does have some trouble with her back still from the accident. Tyler ended up with a broken shoulder blade and a hole in his leg where it was punctured by the tire air stem. His leg ended up getting infected due to the water they landed in and he could have lost his leg. It just goes to show, again, that seatbelts matter. THEY MAKE A DIFFERENCE.I wanted to share a story with you all – in 2009 my 18 y/o son and 13 y/o daughter rolled off I-75 right at SR 64 exit in my Yukon.
